Meet Oliver North (formerly Petty).

Since 2014, Oliver has been a leading cultural expert, educator, speaker, addressing mental health to communities in the inland empire and surrounding areas. His organization also provided Optimal Health Relationship Education via a federally funded grant and serviced 13,562 students in the middle of a national pandemic; and continues to be the leading expert in this area.

Last year, he led a series of Race + Culture training for parents, students, and educators in VVUSD. Recently, in the same district, Oliver launched a socioemotional learning series of online courses under "The Passion Tape" banner --helping children design the life they imagine on their terms.  This learning series will be released via a live premiere mid-February.

What is The Passion Tape?

This video curriculum consists of 10 series broken into three parts. Each session requires a minimum of 15 minutes for viewing, introspection guides, and instruction time. The Passion Tape will guide students through self-actualization to use their experience to process and facilitate personal growth and positive development.

  • Part I is the video segment of the curriculum and should be viewed and digested as a Mindfulness Conversation.

  • Part II encompasses a Mindful Introspection guide paired with each video session. The introspection guide is designed to engage youth in metacognition, understanding how they uniquely think and process information, emotions, and experiences.

  • Part III leads into the focus groups after sessions one, five, eight, and ten, designed to provide students an opportunity to communicate questions, receive guidance, and learn how to navigate current challenges with the developer of the curriculum, Oliver North.

Oliver had the opportunity to sit down with corporate executives and roundtables with government officials of federal grant administrators to ask questions and learn from their experiences. As a Certified Master Trainer for the Center for Relationship Education, he is now about to use his voice all across the country to make a change to the way we educate our youth.
